Our Motto 'Turning Ideas into Reality'

Future Tests design philosophy is to establish a close working relationship with our customers to insure accurate and predictable results in all project endeavors. This relationship proves most important at the initial design / concept stages of a project as it paves the way to predictable development costs and delivery schedules.

Areas of Expertise

  • Analog design
  • Digital design
  • Electromechanical design
  • Micro controller (embedded controller)
  • Software development - Code can be written in high level or assembly language

An in house engineering staff and machine shop can expedite development of the initial prototype for evaluation and enhancements (see Machine Shop).

Industry standard conventions are used to generate schematics and printed circuit board artwork. Emphasis is placed on design for production and testability (see Board Test). Our manufacturing services provide insight into manufacturing related issues (see Assy Services).

Printed circuit board layout for analog and high speed digital circuits are treated with special care.  Actual design engineers perform the layout and routing process to insure signal integrity and maximize circuit performance.  Manufacturability and test also strongly influence the layout.

Extensive testing of new analog designs and digital designs are performed to insure your product is reliable under a variety of extremes such as:

  • Temperature extremes - thermal chambers are used to verify high and low temperature operation
  • Voltage extremes - AC and DC power supplies are used to vary the input power to test for erratic behavior
  • Electrical transients - Electrostatic discharge to test for erratic behavior
  • RF emissions and susceptibility - Spectrum analyzer measurements used to verify emission levels to comply with FCC requirements
  • Product specific conditions - tested for performance and reliability

Once a product has been completed, you can count on Future Test for ongoing engineering product support, for example: product hardware or software enhancements, component substitutions, re packaging, etc.

Look under Samples for a few projects undertaken by Future Test.  For more detailed information about our capabilities feel free to call or respond via Feedback.

Interested in turning your idea into reality?
The first step is to contact Future Test via the telephone or leave a message at Feedback. Typically a meeting is established to determine your exact requirements and if Future Test is suitable to meet them - if so, Future Test will provide a proposal to you defining specifications, costs and delivery.
